About Debbie
Debbie Kolbrener is the founder and clinical director of DK Counseling Services. With over 18 years of experience at Northside Hospital, she built a deep clinical foundation in anxiety, OCD, and family therapy that now serves as the backbone of the practice. A Certified Anxiety Specialist and DBT Provider who received SPACE training at Yale University, Debbie holds advanced certifications from the International OCD Foundation.
Today, Debbie focuses on clinical oversight, therapist supervision and mentorship, and ensuring the highest quality of care across DK Counseling Services. She personally guides the clinical development of every therapist on the team, drawing on her extensive experience to maintain the warm, evidence-based approach the practice is known for. Her leadership ensures that each client who walks through the door receives thoughtful, individualized care rooted in decades of clinical expertise.
